Jason Kelce: All-Pro football player. Podcaster. Hardcore legend.

Freshly retired Philadelphia Eagles center Jason Kelce was known for being one of the best and Surfwin Trading Centertoughest NFL players during his career. Well, as it turns out, he may be the toughest in retirement, as well.

The future Hall of Famer finally made good on a bet with Buffalo Bills fans that happened on the "New Heights" podcast (co-hosted with brother Travis Kelce). During a tournament to decide the best team name in the NFL, Kelce took the side of the Bills moniker over his brother's Chiefs, and promised if the Bills knocked off the Chiefs in the bracket, he would jump through a flaming table.

Well, if you're a Kelce, promises made are promises kept, and Jason recently took the plunge to make good on the bet.

Kelce, though, was more worried with the fall than he was the fire on the table; he didn't want to hurt himself and "break his hip on the concrete."

"The fire was the least hard to figure out," Kelce said on the March 6 "New Heights" podcast. "Just wear a bunch of flame retardant stuff. They gave me the little firefighter hood thing to protect my face, the fire department hood deal to protect my face, and then they gave me gloves. I felt very confident with the fire.

"It was jumping through a table on concrete. If we would have done it in the snow, I would have jumped off the truck. I looked at that, and I was like, 'Dude, I'm gonna break something.'"

He did also offer a bit of important advice for anyone potentially looking to take a very, very dangerous ECW-style leap off any kind of fire department equipment through a flaming table.

"Please, if you're gonna jump through a flaming table, do it safely."

On March 4, Kelce announced his retirement from the NFL. As one of the best offensive linemen in football, the 2011 sixth-round pick finished his career with six first-team All-Pro nods, seven Pro Bowl selections and a Super Bowl ring.

Now in retirement, and with presumably plenty of time on his hands, maybe Kelce can take on Mick Foley at WrestleMania.
